Police investigate serious assault atParadise, South Australia

Police are investigating a serious assault at Paradise last night.

Just before 9pm Saturday 22 May police and emergency services were called to a block of units on Lower North East Road after reports that a man had been stabbed.

When police arrived they located a 24-year-old man with a stab wounds to his torso. He was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Following investigations police arrested a 23-year-old woman from Murray Bridge and charged her with attempt murder and aggravated assault.

A 50-year-old woman and a 24-year-old man from Paradise were also arrested and charged with aggravated assault.

The trio have been refused police bail and will appear before the Adelaide Magistrates Court tomorrow Monday 23 May.

Eastern Adelaide CIB rea investigating and advise that the matter is not random with all persons being known to each other.
