Police investigate serious assault atSalisbury North, South Australia

Police are investigating a serious assault at Salisbury North.

Emergency services were called to Audley Avenue, Salisbury North at 3pm on Tuesday 12 October by reports of a violent altercation inside a unit.

A 20-year-old man was found with stab wounds to the chest and leg. He was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

Police are searching for the suspect, who is believed to be known to the victim. This does not appear to be a random incident.

Northern District CIB detectives and crime scene investigators attended the scene.
