Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding a serious collision in Werribee this evening.
It is believed a car and a road registered scooter collided at the intersection of Geelong Road and Werribee-Bacchus Marsh Road just before 7pm.
The male rider was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the car was not injured and is currently assisting police with their enquiries.
