Police have commenced inquiries after a man was stabbed at Maroubra.
About 4.30pm today (Sunday 13 September 2020), emergency services were called to the intersection of Beauchamp Road and Anzac Parade, where they found a man with a stab wound to the chest.
The man, believed to be aged in his 30s, was treated at the scene before being taken to St Vincent’s Hospital in a serious condition.
Officers from Eastern Beaches Police Area Command established a crime scene and have commenced an investigation.
Police have been told the man was involved in an argument with another man in the street prior to the stabbing.
Inquiries are continuing.
