Police are seeking public assistance as they investigate an armed robbery which occurred at the Foreshore Tavern, Lauderdale in the early hours of this morning.
Shortly before 2am a staff member was on site when two men broke into the premises and demanded cash. One of the offenders is believed to have been armed with a firearm.
As a result of the incident a substantial amount of cash was stolen. The staff member did not sustain any physical injuries.
The offenders are both described as adult men, wearing dark coloured clothing with hooded jumpers pulled over their heads.
