Northern Territory Police are appealing to the public for information regarding an incident that occurred in Gray on Sunday, 21 January 2024.
The incident involved the discharge of a firearm, from outside a residence, into the side of a passing vehicle on Dillon Circuit around 11 pm. The passenger suffered injuries to the lower leg and was subsequently transported to Palmerston Regional Hospital for medical treatment.
The victims’ vehicle has been identified as a tray back single cab white Hilux.
The incident was not reported to the police until now. Serious Crime Squad is actively investigating the matter to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Police are urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident, has information regarding the whereabouts of the offenders, or observed any suspicious activity within the vicinity of Dillion Circuit, to come forward and assist with the ongoing investigation.
