Police investigating hit and run on North Terrace, South Australia

Police are looking for a driver who hit a pedestrian on North Terrace last night and drove off.

The 21-year-old man was struck by the blue Holden Commodore sedan on North Terrace, Adelaide, near the Railway Station, about 4.20am on Saturday 19 September.

He was treated by paramedics at the scene before being taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital for scans and observation. His injuries are not life-threatening.

The driver of the blue Holden Commodore was involved in an assault in Morphett Street, Adelaide just before the crash. Police are investigating whether the crash is linked to the prior incident.

Investigations continue this morning to locate the driver and the vehicle.
