Police investigating over aggravated break-in in Riverwood

Investigations are continuing following an aggravated break-in at a home in Sydney’s south-west today.

Just after 3am (Saturday 25 January 2020), emergency services were called to a property on Methuen Parade, Riverwood, following reports of a break and enter.

Police have been told three men and a woman entered the home and stole a wallet and phone belonging to the occupant, a 29-year-old man. He was punched in the face before they left the premises.

Officers from Campsie Police Area Command established a crime scene and have commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.

As inquiries continue, any witnesses or anyone with information is urged to come forward.
