Police are investigating the serious wounding of a 33-year-old man who was located in a street at Pimpama in the early hours of this morning (July 21).
Shortly after midnight police were called to Milbrook Crescent where the local man was located in the street with two puncture wounds to his chest.
Early investigations indicate the man was involved in an altercation with another man known to him when he was wounded.
The offender fled the scene after the incident.
The man was transported to hospital in a critical condition.
Police investigations are ongoing.
