Police investigating wounding at Main Beach

Queensland Police are investigating after a reported wounding at Main Beach, on the Gold Coast, last night, November 18.

Initial investigations indicate around 10:20pm, emergency services were called to a Main Beach Parade unit complex following reports of a man sustaining multiple stab wounds.

Officers arrived a short time later and located a 35-year-old Springwood man with multiple injuries inside the unit, as well as a 35-year-old Shailer Park man and a 31-year-old Pacific Pines woman.

The Springwood man was transported to Gold Coast University Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Gold Coast Detectives are investigating the circumstances of the incident.
