Police investigating wounding incident at Bahrs Scrub

Detectives from Logan Criminal Investigation Branch are investigating after a man was stabbed during a break-and-enter at Bahrs Scrub in Logan this afternoon, May 18.

Initial investigations indicate at approximately 2.15pm, three people broke into a Bahrs Scrub Road home.

A 49-year-old man has attended the property and confronted the group before a physical altercation occurred in which he sustained a stab wound to the stomach.

A waiting Ford Ranger, stolen from Algester on May 17, has then driven into the front of the home, causing damage.

The group have then entered the car and driven from the scene.

The 49-year-old man was transported to Logan Hospital in a stable condition.

Investigations into the incident are ongoing.

Detectives appeal to anyone with information, relevant CCTV or dashcam footage in the area at the time to come forward.
