Police attended a residential address in New Norfolk this morning, after a person sought medical attention for what is believed to be a firearm-related injury to the foot.
The person was taken to hospital shortly after 10am.
Police conducted enquiries at the residence this morning and there was no evidence of any risk to the broader public.
While there is no ongoing activity at the scene, police are continuing to make inquiries into the incident.
