Homicide Squad detectives have charged a 25-year-old Grovedale man with murder following an incident in Belmont last month.
Police were called to a park in Barrabool Road about 7.30am on 21 December after a man’s body was located.
The 25-year-old was arrested by detectives this morning and has since been interviewed and charged with murder.
He will face Geelong Magistrates’ Court on Friday morning.
