Police have charged two people following investigations into an alleged serious assault at Redcliffe yesterday, 25 July.
It will be alleged around 2pm, a 15-year-old boy and a 19-year-old man assaulted a 79-year-old woman at a Redbank Road address before stealing her car keys and a grey Volkswagen T-Cross hatch.
The 79-year-old woman sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was assessed by emergency services but not transported to hospital.
Following investigations, police arrested a 15-year-old boy and a 19-year-old man at a Norman Park address.
The Volkswagen was also located at Norman Park.
A 15-year-old boy has been charged with robbery and unlawful use of a motor vehicle.
He will appear at Brisbane Childrens Court on 27 July.
A 19-year-old Norman Park man was charged with robbery, unlawful use of a motor vehicle, failure to appear in accordance with undertaking and breach of bail.
He will appear at Brisbane Magistrates Court on 27 July.
