Karratha Detectives have charged a male teenager after he allegedly assaulted a man on Sunday, 24 May 2020.
It is alleged the 15-year-old youth, assaulted the 37-year-old man outside his home in Nickol.
The victim received serious head injuries and was conveyed to the Karratha Health Campus and subsequently flown to Perth via Royal Flying Doctor Service for treatment.
The 15-year-old boy from Nickol has been charged with Grievous Bodily Harm and is due to appear before the Karratha Children’s Court today, 26 May 2020.
Members of the community provided information to police which aided in this investigation and police would like to thank the public for their assistance.
