Police make arrest – Aggravated burglary – Coolalinga

Northern Territory Police have arrested two people in relation to an aggravated burglary incident earlier this morning.

Just before 4am, police received information of a burglary that was taking place at a shopping centre at Coolalinga, where four people had damaged the front sliding doors, gaining entry to the building. While inside, the group damaged the front doors to the adjoining bottle shop before fleeing the premises with a large quantity of alcohol.

Strike Force Trident took carriage of the investigation and this afternoon located two of the four offenders at a Durack residence in possession of the stolen alcohol. The two males, aged 17 and 19, were arrested without incident and are expected to be charged with property offences later today.
