Northern Territory Police have arrested a 19-year-old male for an alleged attempted child abduction that occurred in Tennant Creek yesterday.
About 12:30am on Sunday 19 July 2020, the male allegedly removed a sleeping 9-year-old girl from her home on Scheelite Crescent.
The male has been conveyed to the Tennant Creek Watch House where he remains in custody.
Detectives from Tennant Creek Investigation Unit continue to investigate the incident.
