Police make arrest – Stealing with violence – Fannie Bay

Northern Territory Police have arrested one youth in relation to a stealing with violence incident in Fannie Bay early this morning.

Just before 5am, four male youths approached a male outside of a service station along Ross Smith Avenue, demanding keys to the shop.

The youths allegedly assaulted the victim, before gaining entry into the store and fleeing the location with a sum of cash.

General duties attended the scene, quickly establishing a crime scene and obtaining CCTV.

Investigations are continuing to locate the others involved.

A 13-year-old male remains in police custody and is expected to be charged later today.
