Police make arrests after charity tin Frankston theft

Police have arrested two people in relation to the theft of a charity tin in Frankston on Monday.

It is alleged a man and woman entered the store on Nepean Highway about 9.30pm.

While in the store the pair made their way to the front counter and positioned themselves near the charity tin.

The man removed the tin and placed it in the woman’s handbag, and they left the store.

The pair were arrested in Dandenong this evening and are currently being interviewed by police.

The 41-year-old woman and 37-year-old man, both from Drouin, are expected to be charged with theft.
