Police officer arrested and charged in Southern Region, QLD

A 46-year-old male Senior Sergeant from Southern Region has been arrested and charged with alleged domestic and family violence related offences.

The officer has also been charged with authority required to possess explosives (ammunition), stealing, possession of weapons, and possession of suspected tainted property.

He has been remanded in custody today to appear at the Richlands Magistrates Court on February 10.

The officer has been suspended from duty with the Queensland Police Service.
