A leading senior constable from eastern region has been charged following an internal investigation.
The male officer was charged with intentionally causing injury, recklessly cause injury, threat to inflict serious injury, make threat to kill, possess dangerous article and assault with a weapon.
It’s alleged the incident occurred while the officer was off duty on 11 December, 2021.
The 48-year-old was charged on summons to appear at a court at a later date.
