A leading senior constable from the eastern region has been charged following an internal investigation.
The 54-year-old male officer was charged with reckless conduct endangering serious injury, drive at a speed dangerous and exceed speed limit by 45km/h or more.
The charges relate to alleged incidents in Coldstream in August last year while the officer was on duty.
He was charged on summons to appear at a court at a later date.
