Police officer injured in Seaford hit run

Police are investigating after an officer was struck by a vehicle in Seaford on 18 September.

Police were responding to an alarm and possible burglary at a school on Eel Race Road about 3am when the vehicle, that was driving in the school grounds, struck a police officer.

The driver then fled the scene.

The female officer was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The vehicle, described as a white utility with a silver tray, and driver are yet to be located at this stage.
