A police operation at a youth justice centre at Werrington has since concluded.
Officers from Nepean Police Area Command, assisted by specialist commands and staff from Youth Justice NSW, were called to facility just after 12.30pm today (Tuesday 14 January 2020), following reports of youths on a roof.
Three boys, aged 17, 17 and 15, were arrested and remain in custody at the facility.
Investigations are continuing into the circumstances surrounding this incident.
