Police release images after series of thefts in Doncaster

Manningham Crime Investigation Unit detectives have released an image of a man following a series of thefts in Doncaster earlier this year.

Between 1pm and 3pm on 21 September an unknown offender has attended at least five underground car parks entering numerous vehicles and storage cages to steal items.

Two of the car parks were on Tram Road, one on Elgar Road, another on Elgar Court and one on Doncaster Road.

Investigators have released an image of a man who they believe will be able to assist with enquiries.

He is perceived to be of Caucasian appearance, with a thin build and brown hair.

The man is pictured wearing a black baseball cap, a black Nike hooded jumper, black jeans, black runners, a red bandana and was carrying a red sports bag.

Anyone who recognises the man or has information that could assist detectives with their investigation is urged to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential report at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au.
