Police responding to fatal traffic crash at Bohle Plains

A man has died following a single vehicle crash in Bohle Plains this morning.

Preliminary investigations indicate that around 3.30am this morning, the driver was travelling along Ring Road when it allegedly struck a kangaroo.

Due to the impact, the vehicle travelled off the roadway and down the side of an embankment, 100 metres from the William Condon Bridge.

Police located the vehicle at around 1.30pm today and located a 40-year-old Kirwan man, who was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Forensic Crash Unit investigations are continuing.
