Police Responding To Fatal Traffic Crash At Morayfield 21 June

Forensic Crash Unit officers are investigating after a motorcyclist died in a crash at Morayfield early this morning, 21 June.

Initial investigations indicate at 1.30am the man was travelling southbound on the Bruce Highway when he struck a Blue Ford Territory near the Buchanan Road off ramp. A third vehicle is believed to have then collided with the motorcyclist.

The rider, a 22-year-old Burpengary man, died at the scene.

Investigators are appealing for anyone with further information or relevant dash cam vision to contact police.

Investigators are also appealing for anyone who observed or has vision of a Blue Ford Territory travelling in the area to contact police.

No one else was physically injured in the incident and investigations are ongoing.
