A man has died in hospital following a serious traffic crash in North Rockhampton this morning.
At about 9.10am, a 74-year-old Koongal man was travelling northbound on Berserker Street when the car collided with a parked car.
The driver and sole occupant of the car was taken to Rockhampton Base Hospital in a critical condition.
Initial investigations indicate the man may have suffered from a medical episode.
Sadly, this evening, the man passed away in hospital.
Forensic Crash Unit continues to investigate the crash.
