A man has died following a single vehicle traffic crash at Tallebudgera overnight.
Just before 9:15pm yesterday, a Mercedes Benz was travelling along Tallebudgera Creek Road when lost control and crashed into a tree.
Witnesses, including an off-duty police officer, rendered assistance to the sole occupant of the vehicle prior to the arrival of emergency services.
A 47-year-old Pimpama man was pronounced deceased a short time later.
Officers from the Forensic Crash Unit are investigating the circumstances of the crash.
