A 37-year-old Ascot man has died following a single-vehicle traffic crash in Wacol today.
Initial information indicates shortly before 1pm a silver Audi A5 was being driven eastbound along the Ipswich Motorway off ramp onto the Centenary Highway when it crashed into a barrier.
The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle was declared deceased at the scene.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the circumstances of the traffic crash.
Anyone with dash cam footage of the moments leading up to the crash is urged to contact police.
