A pedestrian has died in a traffic crash at Newtown overnight.
Preliminary inquires indicate at 6.50pm the woman was crossing Hursley Road when she has been struck by two vehicles travelling on the road.
The 56-year-old Newtown woman died at the scene.
No-one else was physically injured in the incident.
Forensic Crash Unit investigations are continuing.
