Police responding to traffic crash at Minyama

Police are appealing for witnesses after a crash at Minyama near Kawana Waters on Thursday October 17.

At about 2am, a white Volkswagen Amarok travelling in the southbound lane on Nicklin Way, mounted the median strip and collided with a street sign. The car also hit a palm tree in the median strip, causing damage.

The car failed to stop and continued on Nicklin Way towards Currimundi.

Further reports reveal the Volkswagen Amarok may have collided with another vehicle travelling southbound and caused other vehicles to take evasive action. There were no reported injuries.
