Police search for motorcyclist who fled from Kialla breath testing site

State Highway Patrol officers are hoping to identify a motorcyclist who fled from a roadside breath testing site in Kialla on Friday.

The rider of a blue Suzuki GSX-R75 motorbike was waved into the breath testing site on Goulburn Valley Highway about 11.10am.

When officers approached the rider, they accelerated at a fast rate of speed and rode away.

A short time later, the bike was located abandoned on Midstar Crescent, Kialla.

Investigators have today released images of a motorcyclist as part of their investigation.

The rider was travelling on a blue Suzuki bike bearing registration plates ZR-759 that did not belong to the bike and has a tattoo of spikes or flames on their left thigh.

They were wearing a blue helmet, a black jumper with white writing on the back and blue shorts with white stripes on the side.
