Police are currently in the Mile End South area looking for a suspect sought in a break-in.
Just after 5am on Friday 28 August, police received a report of a person jumping a fence out of the Bunnings Warehouse complex on Railway Terrace. The suspect had left items behind before running off.
A number of patrols, including Police Dog Operations officers with PD Stoic and Arnie, are conducting an extensive search of the area, specifically focusing on an underground drainage system.
The suspect is described as a man of Caucasian appearance, aged in his 40’s with possible goatee beard and wearing dark clothing.
