Northern Territory Police are calling for information after a robbery at a roadhouse in Warumungu this morning.
Around 5:30am, police received reports that a group of 6 people unlawfully entered the business near the intersection of the Stuart Highway and Barkly Highway.
The group allegedly stole a quantity of alcohol and cash before being confronted by an employee. The employee was allegedly assaulted by members of the group before they all fled on foot into nearby bushland.
Detectives from Tennant Creek are investigating and are urging anyone with dash-cam footage between 4:30am and 6:00am in the area to contact police on 131 444. Please quote reference 10409419.
