Police seek to identify man located unconscious in Tarneit

Investigators from Wyndham Crime Investigation Unit are appealing for public assistance to help identify a man located unconscious in the early hours of this morning.

The male was found by a passer-by about 2.55am today near Tammy Lane and Mirror Avenue in Tarneit.

He was assessed by paramedics at the scene and transported to hospital where he remains in a critical condition.

The circumstances around how the man became unconscious are being investigated however are still largely unknown, it is not being treated as suspicious at this stage.

Police are urging anyone who may recognise the man to come forward.

The man is perceived to be Indian in appearance, about 30 years old and 170cm tall with a medium build.

He was wearing a black jumper, dark grey t-shirt and red, white and blue board shorts with no shoes.

The man was also wearing distinctive necklaces with pendants as pictured below.
