Camberwell police are investigating after a man exposed himself in Kew on Wednesday, 1 June.
Investigators have been told a woman observed an unknown man who had exposed himself and was performing a lewd act in bushes along the walking trail between Belford Road and Hartington Street, Kew, sometime between 10.30am and 11am.
The woman told people at a nearby business about the man who subsequently called police, however, responding officers were unable to locate anyone.
The man is described as being a tall Caucasian male with a thin build wearing a blue Bennie, black tracksuit and wearing a backpack.
Investigators are appealing for the woman who initially witnessed the incident to come forward as she had left the scene before police arrived.
