Australia Post’s Post Billpay automated phone payment service (131 816) is currently unavailable for credit and debit card payments.
Australia Post has advised that the service has been suspended while an identified issue is being addressed. At this stage, no timeframe has been provided for when the service will resume.
Customers can continue to make payments using the alternative payment methods listed on their notice, including:
- Online payment through Council’s website
- BPAY
- Payment in person at an Australia Post outlet or Council customer service centre
- Australia Post online
Customers are asked not to use or rely on the 131 816 phone payment service until further notice.
Council will provide an update when Australia Post confirms that the service has resumed.
