Northern Territory Police are calling for witnesses in relation to an alleged aggravated assault that occurred today, Wednesday 18 March 2020.
At 11:00am, police received numerous reports of an Aboriginal male running around a shopping centre complex in the CBD armed with a knife.
Shortly afterwards, a 21-year-old female attended the Alice Springs Police Station with a head wound stating her 21-year-old ex-partner had stabbed her.
Police conducted patrols and located the man who was immediately arrested.
The victim was conveyed to Alice Springs Hospital for medical treatment.
