Northern Territory Police are calling for witnesses to an assault that occurred over the weekend in Gray.
It is alleged that on Saturday evening, a man and woman were in the vicinity of Victoria Drive, when he allegedly assaulted her.
The woman noticed nearby police and called for help before the man fled the scene.
Detective Acting Senior Sergeant Ashleigh Raeburn said “Police are particularly interested in speaking to a woman who was walking past at the time of the assault who may be able to assist police with enquiries.
“We’ll continue to seek assistance from the community to ensure those who engage in violent conduct against others are held accountable for their actions.”
