Police seek witnesses to four car crash, Deanside

WITNESS APPEAL FOLLOWING FOUR CAR CRASH, DEANSIDE

Melton Highway Patrol officers are appealing for public assistance following a four car collision in Deanside last Monday afternoon (2 March).

Police have been told traffic was stationary on Taylors Road due to roadworks when a gold Ford Fairlane collided with the rear of a grey Kia Cerata about 4.15pm.

The Kia Cerata was pushed into the rear of a white Toyota Hilux which was pushed into the rear of another white Toyota Hilux.

The 61-year-old male driver of the Kia Cerata was treated at the scene by paramedics and was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The driver of the third vehicle was treated at the scene by paramedics for minor injuries.

Investigators are keen to speak to any witnesses or anyone that may have dash cam footage of the incident or information about the gold Ford Fairlane prior to the collision.
