Police shooting in Logan Central, QLD

A man has been shot by police after officers attended a Croydon Road address in Logan Central this afternoon following a disturbance.

It will be alleged around 1pm, officers were threatened by the 40-year-old man before police discharged a firearm.

Immediate first aid and CPR were provided, and the man was transported to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a critical condition.

A crime scene has been established at the address while police investigations continue.

This matter is under investigation by Ethical Standards Command.
