A man has died following a police shooting at Marsden this afternoon.
Preliminary investigations indicate at 4.39pm police were called to a Chambers Flats Road shopping centre after reports a man had threatened people at a number of businesses with a knife.
Police attempted to negotiate with man however he threatened them with the knife and police shot him.
He was transported to the Logan Hospital but died a short time later.
The investigations are continuing with overview by the Ethical Standards Command.
