Police are on scene at a Burge Court property at Glenella following reports of a suspicious death this morning, October 5.
Emergency crews were called at approximately 11.20am.
Upon arrival, a 73-year-old woman was located deceased.
A crime scene was declared, and a 55-year-old woman was taken into police custody where she is currently assisting with enquiries.
It is understood the two women are known to each other.
Witnesses or anyone with information is urged to contact police.
Investigations are continuing.
