Ipswich Detectives have charged a 25-year-old man following investigations into an assault in Springfield Central earlier this month.
Following extensive investigations, detectives yesterday executed a search warrant at a Springfield Lakes address and took the man into custody.
The 25-year-old Springfield Lakes man has been charged with one count of sexual assault.
He has been refused police bail and is due to appear in Ipswich Magistrates Court today, April 20.
