Police update 1: Missing teenager at Cairns

Police have conducted a search of bushland in Yarrabah as part of investigations into the disappearance of a boy.

The 17-year-old boy was last seen on Brophy Street on August 15 and was reported missing on September 2.

On November 21 and 22, police specialist units including the Dive Squad, Dog Squad, Cairns Water Police alongside State Emergency Service volunteers conducted a third search of bushland.

No items of relevance were located.

Investigations are continuing and police continue to appeal for anyone with information to contact Policelink or Crimestoppers.
