A police operation in Jubilee Pocket has entered its third day, with officers continuing to negotiate with a single man inside an Erromango Drive residence.
Police can confirm that the occupant has barricaded himself inside and is armed with a compound bow and edged weapons.
There are no other persons present within the unit, and there are no firearms or other weapons involved.
Police wish to thank the residents of Erromango Street and Jubilee Pocket for their patience and understanding while this matter is ongoing.
Officers will continue to negotiate with the intent to resolve this matter peacefully and without harm to any persons, including the man and officers.
