Police update 2: Homicide in MacGregor, QLD

A 17-year-old boy has been charged following investigations into the death of a 56-year-old man in MacGregor on April 15.

Officers were called to a house on Delfin Drive around 11.40pm following reports that a man had been shot in a garage.

The 56-year-old was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a critical condition but was pronounced deceased a short time later.

A 17-year-old Slacks Creek boy has been charged with one count each of murder, enter dwelling with intent, armed robbery, possession of shortened firearms and unlawful use of a motor vehicle.

The boy has been remanded in custody.

Police are continuing to appeal to anyone that has dashcam footage or sighted a silver 2013 Hyundai Elantra hatchback possibly bearing false Queensland registration
