Police update 2: Suspicious death at Norman Gardens, QLD

Homicide detectives investigating the suspicious death of a 34-year-old man at Norman Gardens on November 17 are appealing to the public for information in relation to two vehicles.

Anuisha Bone was located deceased at a Yeppoon Road property just after 4am, following reports a man had been shot.

Extensive investigations indicate the person/s involved may have been travelling in a white 2021 Toyota Kluger (similar to the one pictured) and a white 2015 Hyundai Tucson (similar to the one pictured) which were observed nearby.

Police appeal to anyone who may have sighted vehicles of this description in the local area around the time of the suspicious death, particularly between 2am and 4am, to immediately contact police.

Nearby residents, including occupants along Richardson Road, Norman Road, Feez Street, Moores Creek Road and Yaamba Road, between Norman Gardens and Parkhurst are also encouraged to review their CCTV for any relevant vision of the two vehicles.

Detective Acting Inspector Luke Peachey said investigators would do everything possible to find those responsible.

“We will leave no stone unturned in this investigation,” Detective Acting Inspector Peachey said.

“We urge anyone who has information, no matter how small, to come forward and help us put those responsible before the courts.”

On November 18, a 25-year-old man was taken into custody in Rockhampton.

Yesterday, November 22, a 33-year-old Sunshine Coast man was arrested in Hervey Bay.

Both men are currently assisting police with enquiries.

Investigations remain ongoing.
