Police update: Attempted armed robbery appeal in Logan Central, QLD

Police investigating the attempted armed robbery of a man in Logan Central on April 17 have released images of two men (pictured) they believe could assist with their inquiries.

Around 2am the 33-year-old man was driving his white Nissan X-Trail north along Ewing Road when it was struck by an object at the intersection of Albert Street.

He stopped where words were exchanged with the man.

While they were talking a second man threw a star picket at his car and caused damage to the bonnet.

The driver then drove away without injury.

Both men are of Pacific Islander appearance.

One was of a heavy build, who was wearing black clothing and had a short beard.

The second was wearing dark coloured pants, a light purple shirt, white shoes and a black hat. He also had a black bag, a thin gold necklace and a tattoo on the left side of his neck.

At the time he also had a thin moustache and goatee.

It is further understood the pair threw objects at two other cars around the same time.

Investigators are urging anyone with vision or further information to contact them.
